Kenny and Jennifer Easton serve in Montrose, Colorado at Mountaintop Retreat, a camp situated in the Rocky Mountains. The thirty-two acre camp sits at roughly 8,000 feet elevation, borders the Uncompahgre National Forest, and overlooks beautiful mountain ranges and mesas.
The community of Montrose is economically, religiously, and socially diverse, and has unending opportunities to serve people from all walks of life. Like many communities around the United States, this area needs a greater presence of caring Christians to minister to and foster growth in the community churches and established ministries.
After seeing the need in their community, the Eastons joined the established ministry of Mountaintop Retreat, which seeks to bring families and youth to Jesus. Campers get to experience the beauty of God’s creation amidst the mountains of Colorado while learning about God’s love and growing in their faith.
Mountaintop Retreat serves all types of groups, from church retreats and youth camps to hunting groups and family gatherings.
The Eastons have served as InFaith field staff since 2016.
Kenny began his ministry at the age of nineteen, after a lifetime of church services and youth programs, when he applied for and accepted a music and youth ministry position at Christ Presbyterian Church in Winfield, Indiana. The position quickly developed into a career of music and youth ministry that grew for over thirteen years. During this ministry, Kenny attended Valparaiso University to study vocal music, and eventually transferred to Liberty University to study theology.
Kenny and Jennifer met and were married at Christ Presbyterian Church. They have recently heard God’s call to ministry with InFaith at Mountaintop Retreat and are excited to continue God’s work at camp!
