JAMES CAMPBELL (CH CAPT) ARMY

James is currently serving in the Texas Army National Guard as a Military Chaplain. He has completed a BA in Spanish from Texas Tech University and a M.Div. from Liberty University. He was ordained by his home church, University Avenue Church of Christ, where he serves as the Military Outreach Minister to the Texas Army National Guardsmen in the Austin and San Antonio Texas area. James writes: "God has a plan for everyone's life. He has provided me with opportunities and allowed me to develop as a warrior for His purposes. I know what it is like to be an infantry private, a sergeant, and an officer. I know the uniqueness of each position and it has helped to plant the seed into a soldier's heart. I love soldiers and their families and I want to see them flourish in Christ. In many respects, I will be the only light of Christ that many of my soldiers will ever witness. It is a huge responsibility and I understand its magnitude, but God will give me the strength to continue on."
