FLORENCE MOSS (CH CPT) ARMY

Florence recently was reappointed to active duty chaplaincy and was assigned to Joint Base Lewis McChord in WA in 2021. She had honorably served in the U.S. Army Reserves since 1996. She has been a Christian her entire life. Her decision to pursue the Army chaplaincy was a proactive approach in building the kingdom of God while continuing her military service. Florence has an M.Div. from Faith Evangelical College and Seminary, an MBA in business administration from the University of Phoenix, a B.S. in recreation, parks and tourism from the University of Florida, and an A.S. in communications/journalism from Miami Dade College. She completed the Army's combat medical ministry course and the clinical pastoral education extern program at the Madigan Army Medical Center and a CPE residency at CHI Health in Omaha, NE. As an USAR chaplain, Florence was assigned as Battalion Chaplain to the 393rd Military Police Battalion (CID), Bell, California and Battalion Chaplain for the 724th MP Bn in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
